Hello, All!
Let me start off by saying- While watching the recaps of the season it became painfully, or not so painfully obvious that Danielle was done.
The show opens with Teresa making dinner for her family and other cast members. Teresa is standing at her stove getting the pasta ready for the final episode dinner. I'm sure we all noticed this was nothing more than an opportunity for the cast members to plug Teresa's book "Skinny Italian". I'm just thankful they waited for the last episode to plug. Unlike other housewives we know. Just sayin'!
As everyone sits down to dinner I await patiently for the subject Of Danielle Staub to arise. After all, these women are under contract, and as judgemental as most viewers are about the Danielle conversations. These women really have no other choice but to speak of her. They have to honor their contracts. So... we finally get to the subject of Danielle which resulted in Caroline texting Danielle for a meeting to end all the nonsense. Did anyone see Caroline cover her face in the conversation before she text Danielle? She was clearly trying not to laugh out loud.
On the other end of the text we find a paranoid Danielle speaking to her only two friends in the world, her two young daughters. I have to say I am shocked every single time this woman drags her children into the drama she signed up for. FIND A FRIEND DANIELLE! We then see Danielle trying her hardest to pick the text apart. "I like how it says "SHE, SHE wants to end the nonsense" Danielle said. Okay, Danielle, nice try. There was nothing threatening about that text. Her two daughters chime in as usual with a reasonable take on current happenings. What I hate about this more than anything is those children shouldn't be involved. Even if they were told what to say.
In other highlights we see Danielle having her weekly "feed my crazy" meeting with her equally paranoid partner in crime, Danny. Danny has an interesting take on the entire situation. Caroline is the mob leader. lol! He didn't say Mob, I did. C'mon people, this is just insane. Danielle then ask who told those women to chase her through the building at the poshe event. Paranoid much! At least Danny didn't feed that irrational thought to awful much. He did continue to say 'they do what their boss tells them" ha! (Danny, not everyone lives the mafia lifestyle) They end the conversation with Danielle acting like a billy bad-ass that isn't afraid of anything. She is the matriarch of her family, she said. oh me oh my!
Finally- Danielle and Caroline are getting ready to go meet face to face. Caroline has stated a few times. She isn't going to start a fight but she isn't going to run from one either. Meanwhile, Danielle is getting security in place to escort her to meet with Caroline. Forgive me people, but Danielle goes way overboard with the bad acting. You need Armed guards to meet Caroline Manzo? As if the production crew or camera men would allow her to be taken out on their watch. Bless your paranoid heart Danielle. Or should I say, Bless you for trying to convince viewers the other cast-mates are crazy.
Here it comes folks, the moment we've all waited for. The meeting! Danielle walks in were Caroline is already seated in a private room she had taken care of for the two women. You could tell instantly that Danielle had a wall up. Danielle likes to pretend Caroline is her elder, which I don't understand since they are nearly the same age. I guess it's because Caroline tends to act her age while Danielle is off making sex tapes and partying like she is 18. (just sayin'). Caroline starts off my thanking Danielle for coming which really threw Danielle's victim role in the garbage. Uh.. now what? They agree that all the gossip, lies and rumors have gotten out of hand and they're sick of it. (for me, it was nice to see Danielle admit she has played a role in this gossip game). The conversation between the two really took a turn after Ashley's name came up. Danielle stands firm that Ashely has to pay for hat she did. Caroline brings up Danielle's criminal past (which Danielle walked away from with ease, might I add). Danielle then tells Caroline she paid for her mistakes as will Ashley. Caroline wasn't disputing that Ashely should pay for pulling her hair. She was disputing the other charges which were false. Let me take a moment to reflect on Danielle saying she has learned from her mistakes. Honey, you just made a sex tape. You lied while swearing out a warrant. The list goes on and on. You have learned nothing. Sadly, our kids learn by example, not from our mistake or what we tell them not to do. I pray your children move far far away from your influence.
Back to the convo- Caroline calls Danielle a clown. Danielle then takes a stab at Caroline's hair color. She isn't only an undercover bigot she has something against red hair? Then we here garbage, again. I really don't have a lot to say about any of this because I feel production prompted the name calling on both ends. In the end Danielle leaves as always. Trying to appear to be rational to the viewing audience.
But... she then walks outside spilling what just took place to her armed guards that clearly have no interest in what she is saying whatsoever. So what does Danielle do? She walks over by a tree and insults the women by her lonesome.
The show ends with them both returning to their families. Caroline reporting what happened and telling Ashley and the other women they are on there on if this continues. (you go Caroline)
Danielle returned to her children alive. They didn't appear to concerned. I really don't think they thought their mother was ever in any danger. Danielle then prompts her children to come over to these strangers and thank them. lol Those girls appeared uncomfortable to me. As would I if my mother had ever ask me to hug strangers. "We hug" Danielle stated. o.0 "who doesn't"? I said!
It's over people. The season is over.
